Dr. Cheryl Stanley graduated with honors from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. In 2001, she completed the rigorous certification to obtain diplomate status in the Field of Feline Practice with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Stanley completed recertification with the ABVP in 2011.
She is also certified in Stem Cell Therapy and Laser Therapy to aid in management of chronic pain conditions. She has special interests in surgery and internal medicine.
In 2013 she received training in the minimally invasive Tightrope procedure for ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) repair.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Stanley enjoys Texas singer-songwriter music, cooking, camping and being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. Her pet family includes two dogs and two cats.
